Yes. We are FENSA registered (government-authorised for replacement windows and doors), Trustmark endorsed, and CHAS accredited for health and safety compliance.
Windows
uPVC windows are the most popular choice — they're affordable, energy-efficient, low-maintenance and come in a wide range of styles and colours. Aluminium windows have slimmer frames for a more contemporary look, are incredibly strong, and suit modern or heritage-style properties. Both options offer excellent thermal performance.
Quality uPVC windows typically last 20-25 years or more with minimal maintenance. Aluminium windows can last even longer — 30 years or more. The sealed glass units may need replacing before the frames, usually after 15-20 years.
Yes! If your frames are in good condition but the sealed units have failed (misted up), we offer glass unit replacements. This is a cost-effective solution that can restore your windows without the expense of a full replacement.
Doors
Composite doors are made from a combination of materials including a solid timber core, GRP skin, and insulating foam. They're extremely secure, energy-efficient, and come in a wide range of designs. uPVC doors are lighter and more affordable, making them ideal for back doors or side entrances. Both are low-maintenance and durable.
All our doors are fitted with multi-point locking systems as standard. Composite doors in particular offer excellent security thanks to their solid core construction. All our products meet current security standards and many are Secured by Design accredited.
Absolutely. Visit our Newton Aycliffe showroom to see a range of door styles and colours in person. We can also provide brochures and use design tools to show you how different options would look on your property.
Conservatories & Extensions
Most conservatories fall under permitted development and don't require planning permission, provided they meet certain size and positioning criteria. Orangeries and larger extensions may need approval. We'll advise you on this during the quotation process and handle any required applications.
Conservatories have mostly glazed walls and roof, making them very light and airy. Orangeries have more substantial brick or rendered pillars with glazing between them and a lantern-style roof. Orangeries feel more like an extension of your home and stay comfortable year-round. Both add space and value to your property.
Yes, this is one of our most popular services. A warm roof conversion replaces your old polycarbonate or glass roof with a lightweight, insulated tiled roof. This makes your conservatory usable all year round — warmer in winter and cooler in summer — without the need for a completely new structure.
Pricing & Finance
Prices vary depending on the style, size, material, and number of windows. We offer free, no-obligation quotes so you can get an accurate price for your specific requirements. We're competitively priced and never use high-pressure sales tactics.
Yes, we offer flexible finance options to help spread the cost of your home improvements. Subject to status and affordability checks. Ask us for details when we visit for your free quote, or call 01325 321301.
Yes, completely. We'll visit your home, take measurements, discuss your requirements, and provide a written quote. There's no pressure and no obligation. We believe in earning your business on merit, not sales tactics.
Installation
A typical window replacement takes around 30-45 minutes per window. A full house of windows can usually be completed in one to two days. Door installations typically take half a day. Conservatories and orangeries take one to three weeks depending on size and complexity.
Yes. We use our own employed installation teams — we never subcontract the work. This means we have direct control over quality and can ensure a consistently high standard of workmanship on every job.
We take pride in leaving your home clean and tidy. Our installers lay dust sheets, remove all waste materials, and clean up thoroughly at the end of each day. We treat your home with the same respect we'd want in our own.
All our installations come with a comprehensive guarantee. You'll also receive a FENSA certificate for window and door replacements, which confirms the work meets Building Regulations. Specific guarantee periods vary by product — we'll confirm the details in your quotation.
