uPVC doors: the value option

uPVC doors are lighter and more affordable than composite doors. They're a solid choice for:

• Back doors — where budget matters more than kerb appeal
• French doors and patio doors — uPVC is the standard material for these styles
• Matching existing windows — if your home already has uPVC windows, a uPVC door will coordinate perfectly

Modern uPVC doors are far more secure and energy-efficient than older models, with multi-point locking and double-glazed panels as standard.

Which should you choose?

For your front door, we'd generally recommend a composite door. The superior security, insulation, and appearance make it worth the extra investment — it's the first thing people see and the most used door in your home.

For back doors, side doors, and patio doors, uPVC offers excellent performance at a lower price point.
